Casualty of Iowa salty roads? A few years ago a couple of old steel trailers collapsed in the entrance to our local elevator. Havent seen that happen lately with the newer aluminum trailers though I do know the aluminum ones crack too.

Clean 1 owner hopper trailer for sale.. only used to haul from field to elevator... needs a little straightening.. Nothing a little winter shop time wont fix..

so really what was the GVW on the load...

Jon F would cut the front off in 1/2 hour then rebuild the fifth wheel and Mig weld the front panel back on. Probably 2 days with paint. Jim

Don't know the weight--not mine--just a pic. I kept because my Son runs two Jet trailers like the one in the pic.---Tee

95000 isn’t really impressive those Michigan trains prolly light weight that much so you are gonna have to do better than that to impress some of us .

Those Michigan trains will load out with about 1800 bushel in one. We just had one come in to load beans and he had just a bit over 2000 bushel of beans on. I loaded my normal size load of corn and was 90,000 and was only about half full. I have had 106,000 on it a few times and was not close to full either. Corn hrer is running 15.0-16.2 with 58.7-58.9 test weight out of the field. The gal at the pit thought it was dried first. The gal at the scale said she had seen a good amount of corn like or similar to that this year. Was in line to dump and the guy ask if it was dry. I showed him one of the day before's scale tickets and told him to decide. He said to get on up there to the other pit.
