36 year life expectancy or coincidence

I have two 1984 tractors each with original tires with calcium. Last summer the 4500 houred tractor had a tire core damp. Changed it. Last Saturday the 1700 houred 1984 tractor had a damp valve stem . Changed it. Wonder if 36 years is the life expectancy of a calcium valve core ?

If they were made 36 years ago yes. If they were made last year then no.

I always plan to change them at 5 years.

Yes, I always change mine out at 35 years, eleven months and fifteen days to avoid that pesky 36 year life expectancy problem. (;>))
