This was my very first hay wagon, bought at auction about 30 years ago. My brother and I rebuilt it using
treated lumber stringers and oak wood sides about 20 years ago. By then I had 2 more wagons, and
when those wooden racks bit the dust we rebuilt them and installed metal pipe sides. So, this week my
son and I got at it. I purchased the new sides back in September. Cut up the oak for firewood, put down
new oak floor, kept the treated stringers but added 4 new and fitted the sides. Ready to work come
spring. Supervisor approved.
