Powerstar 110 moving snow

I am on my second snow, the first was not enough to really need, but wanted to.

I did put the heater on it for an hour this morning so that works. It is amazing how much more relaxing it is to have a cab tractor. It is bigger physically than my 6610, so I am getting used to the feel of it. I had an 8' back blade on the 6610, that I moved to here. It does not seem to know it is back there. I plan to replace it, but do not know if I should get 9' or 10'. I am using the FWA most of the time when moving snow and will definitely spin the rear wheels without it on.

I have a couple more items on old 6610 to fix, then it goes to the new owner. I hope to have those done by end of next weekend, then can put this in the heated shop.
 
Plow size depends on your area your plowing mine is 8ft but I have some tight areas, if I lived in the Midwest with big open areas get the 9 or 10 buttttttttttt , are your tires loaded ?I have a backhoe on the rear which is 2500 lbs and counter weights of 700 lbs on the front
 
Cousin built a 16 ft. Hydraulic fold, 4 ft. wings. He did several apartment complexes and couple of business parking lots and one huge manufacturer parking lot. Deep hard drifts he would keep it folded to 8'. light fluffy snow unfold to 16' real deep snow use the front end loader first then clean up with 16' blade.
 
I would hope it plays with a 8' blade I use one all the time on my VA Case

I use in in snow and dirt both with no problems, the pics I pulled was not a super deep snow,, but it works fine in up to two feet of snow, after that I use a loader or dozer
 
Why not get a 10' or 12' snow pusher for the front and forget the back blade? I bought a 14' for our 914 Cat loader when I still worked for the city. You could hook it to the bucket in less than 5 minutes and push incredible amounts of snow. If you have a quick attach system, even better.
