For those who don't know.... The Worthington Chief was a custom built tractor for pulling a gang of reel mowers on golf courses. The one I had, was built with an 8N engine, N tractor hood and front dog legs, a Ford 4 speed truck tranny coupled directly to a full floater rear axle with 16" duals. With no further gear reduction than the single speed of the pumpkin, it could do 45 mph in high gear (if you could hang on... it had no spring suspension).
