Picked this up yesterday. Didn't know it had a mower until I got there. Guy had a couple other A s. One was painted JD..... 8 farmall H s. And a farmall 400. Well done patch on my A.

One cub there. I like the grill.... But not the price.lol

That's. a nice Farmall A. I sure would like to have a belly mower for my 39' A. I don't have the pto gearbox/pulley either. Are they pretty hard to find? Can a 39' run a belly mower same as later A's? Sure enjoy following your restores, motivates me to get busy on mine!

I still have Dad's A, sitting with a stuck motor. On the JD with the turned down exhaust. I wonder why that was done. Looks like it's really in the way. Stan

Grandpa I think you will love the A. They are awesome little tractors IMHO. I have never owned one but own a 140 which is quite similar but a little updated.

Larry. It runs. Rough. Renee worked her magic on the carb and I tinkered with the wiring. Ended up hot wiring it But it runs. Now to fine tune it.
