Went on Friday to pick up a Ford 841. Guy wouldn't take less than $800. I asked if we crank it up and drive it on trailer is it still $800? He laughed and said yes. So we tried. Got it to run a few seconds a couple times. Gave up and winched it on. Got it home and wife cleaned carb while I cleaned and gapped plugs and points. Still couldn't get it to stay running. Tried plug wires in every possible position. Then loosen the distributor and turned it 3/4 of an inch. Fired it right up. Found out real quick the water pump is shot and fan in fixin' to come off! Preacher said fix it and paint it. He will pay us.

I don't think it's every been cleaned. Who knows may be original red under there! 😂
 
I think it would be funny to have Renee paint a small red devil holding a pitch fork and a long tail with a point on the end. Wingnut

Richard, he plans to keep it. Will leave the Bush hog on it and box blade on his Kubota. He has 25+ acres..... Needs several tractors😂
 
I notice that the southern tractors seem to all be really rusty. Is that because of all the rain you guys get? Our stuff just sun bleaches due to the intence sunlight.

f you have time & inclination, I would like to see several detail pictures around front & back side of water pump.

es, I'm wanting to compare the design of this pump to an 8N pump. Not fit, but water circulation paths. Thank you.
