I drive that way to a cold storage warehouse in Monticello. In fact i am fixing to leave right now to go there. On the north side of 69, there is a farmstead with an old knight slinger full of scrap iron. Do you know who that is? I would like to stop and ask if I could buy the chassis out from under it, but never have time.

Between Monticello and New Glarus, 69 is predominately North and South. How can it be north of 69?

You are right, I had a brain fart. It is east of 69 about midway between New Glarus and Monticello.

Incidentally, I saw those square silos you posted about awhile back.

Brown Swiss cattle there??? Could be Voegli family. Good people.

My mother grew up just south of Monticello of 69, just west of Pleasant Grain. If look north off of Washington Rd, there are two bank barns,
one red, one bright yellow. That's the family homestead, now owned by my cousin.

Haven't been there in a year and a half or so.
