New to the community, Begging for info on Otter tractors

I have seen older posts geared towards the Ferret/Otter and was looking for a good outlet for literature and parts.

I believe my unit is either a 1989 or 1990 model year. only 1200 hours shown and the clutch is slipping.

I am located in central WI.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post,

I would imagine so. Those posts are from SEVENTEEN years ago... A lot of time has gone by, and I suspect those fellas were gettin' up there in years. Sadly they're probably no longer with us, though I would be glad to hear that they were.

A clutch shop should be able to replace worn friction material, which is most likely your problem.

As far as finding more information, these do not appear to be common or popular enough to warrant any "fan clubs" or interest groups on the internet. What you find with google is going to be what you're going to get. You may well be the world's foremost expert on these tractors at this point.

I have a much older model, finding information is very hard very little available, the model you have has the same engine to bell housing adapter bell housing clutch transmission as the 60's 70's Power King tractors have, clutch parts are available new I'll attach a link, if you would like you can contact me at gbsb2002 at yahoo.com (replace at with @) I have some very basic information that you may already have

I have had "The Clutch Doctor" custom build clutch discs for me. He is very reasonable and does quality work. Google up "Clutch Doctor, North Branch MN"
