Oliver 1265 opinions please

Good morning! Potentially going to check out an Oliver 1265 4-wheel drive with loader this afternoon. Seller says hours unknown; meter broken but everything works well; tractor is too big for his needs; asking $4200.
It does look pretty goon in the pictures. Good deal, bad deal, particular quirks of this model?
 
My dad has a 1365. These were built by Fiat. In this time, Fiat built tractors were used by several companies. Ours has not seen hard use but in the years we've owned it, it has done well . Parts availability on a 45 plus years old machine can be an issue. Plus being foreign built.

Watch out for signs of abuse,, welded repairs to the loader, cobbled up repairs to steering etc. These Fiat built utility tractors have good reputations, electric systems arent the greatest. Good price, go to a site Import tractor parts.
 
About the same tractor as the AC 5040 and Long 445. I think the 1265 had the old style 4WD if so parts are hard to find for the 4WD unit otherwise parts for the rest of the tractor are easy to obtain. Sounds like a good price if everything checks out.
 
A good friend has one for his orchard. His father bought it years ago and they use it regularly, tho dont stress it. It has been very dependable and Ive never heard him mention any repairs needed, though insuppose there must have been some. Still, a good enough track record that hes kept it at least the 40 years Ive known him.
