My neighbor managed. So much smoke here I couldn't stay outside. Wind is swirling around but the county says it's a burn day.

windy and dry in my part of Texas. we've been under a burn ban for weeks. I still smell some several times a week from the subdivision to my south.

Where I am in Missouri they said people should not do any burning. Go out side and the sky is gray and you smell smoke. Seems every time they say DO NOT burn people go out and start fires

we got toned out to a tree limb on wires burning. The duty officer and a firefighter left with one truck, and I pulled a second truck out and was waiting for another member who was coming to the station. I had just gotten pulled out and we got toned for mutual aid with our tanker to the next town for a tree limb and wires on a house burning. So I shut the first truck off and jumped in the tanker and we headed to the next town. In another minute we had a third call which was just a half a mile up the same road as the first one. Busy for a small town.

Up here in the northeast corner of Pa. We are going under a burn ban April 1 until May 1. I hope that helps.

Just got in from a fire in the river bottom. Was down there a couple hours and never got back to it. The woods are so tore up from the storms last year you can't walk thru them much less get a grass rig back in there. Remote area is known for dope cookers so I suppose now that the weather is warming up they are back in business. We let it burn as it can't get across the river.

About 2 square miles are on fire on the west side of Rapid City with several smaller ones in the Keystone area.

We (northern Mn.) went to bed under Red Flag. Woke up under White Ground.

Had a high of 66F yesterday. Supposed to be a high of 25F today.
