how long are those rows and did you dig that all up with your hands or do you have a walk behind tiller.

The pto comes after you pass and what the family does with your stuff has you spinning in your grave.
Deny em the honor, outlive em all.

I was once using a wheel barrow to take material 300 metres down my drive way to fill pot holes, an old farmer told me that I should be using an internal combustion engine to move it, I replied that I was, 'a two cylinder armstrong'. We both had a good laugh.

I planted two rows of onions, radishes, lettuce and spinach the day before good Friday. Planted potatoes day after good Friday. Only thing up is radishes and they'll probably freeze off. Picked my asparagus Monday, wasn't very big but wasn't froze either.

Looks like everything but the 2 potato plants that where up and the one apple tree that was in bloom didn't get hurt by the hard freeze we had. Just hope they do well for the next couple they say we will have. There calling for frost tonight and tomorrow night

Larry@stinescorner,

I am about ready to plant potatoes. Usually I cut a few up and plant them.
This year I put them in this basket, hope it will give them a good start,

GUIDO.

You are stronger than me. If I tried that I couldn't feed myself the next day as I wouldn't be able to lift my arms. I am only49 and 20 years ago I could shovel all day long and did some days, not now. I have had the tendons ripped in my forarms and use them for necessities only. Shoveling is not one of them.

It is good to see you be able to do that after all that you have been through.
