Hydraulic oil cooler in front of radiator had one of four hoses start to leak. Covered front of cooler pretty good with oil and dust from round baler. I want to clean oil off of cooler would spraying with engine degreaser and rinsing well with water work? Have high pressure washer and know to be careful with it. Would hose with spray nozzle be better with degreaser thoughts appreciated

My past experience with engine degreaser is it still left an oily feeling film. I would use something like purple power or equivalent. You can start with engine degreaser then finish up with something else that wont leave a film. Just my past experience.

I use Dawn dish soap for greasy oily cleaning like that. For parts is use solvent gas diesel fuel what ever is available at the time and location. You could just brush a stiff mix of Dawn on let set an hour or so to soak in then wash off by what ever means you have and do it again. I would use the power washer to start with and get the bulk of it off then run some dish soap or shampoo on it.

thanks for reply I pulled grill off of tractor so cooler is out in open Think I will brush dawn dish soap with some water on in morning and see how it works
