Make and a bit more information helps lots. 871 could be an old double breasted yamaha.

Hi. There is a Ford forum (I assume you're talking about a Ford 871 with the dreaded but aptly named SOS transmission). Just scroll down a ways and you'll see it. There
are some guys over there that have been working on Ford tractors since they were three years old but would not soil themselves coming over here. (;>))
