Could be either a 4/60 or a 10/60 with the optional sliding axles. My thighs ache after walking between tractors on the park or in the showroom and forgetting they stuck out. They were originally standard on tractors up to around 1958.

100 Farmall axles have that feature of discovery as well. Shins on receiver hitches. Jim

A farmer here in the UK who grew a lot of different rowcrops ran all Nuffield tractor with sliding axles the after 1970 when they were replaced with the Leyland tractors he ran 384 and 272 models with the sliding axles. MJ.
