What IH tractor is this?

Perhaps this should be in the IH section, but I know somebody here will instantly nail the question. Not an IH man at all, but this could be a welcome addition to keep the grass down. I took a couple of photos of this tractor with belly mower today and it might be for sale. Lots of grease on it, so I didn't see a plate to get any model info. At the very least, rear tires are near new. TIA.

Looks like a BN to me, but I can't see the right side too well. Might be a B.

It is a Farmall B the distance between the pedals and the rt fender, and the length of the left axle define the issue. It has no hydraulic system, though a belt driven pump and system can sure be made. Reliable as a stone, and pretty powerful for the size. Jim

After looking at the distance between the pedals and the fender in
this picture of my BN, I tend to agree with Jim that it is a B.

The B is a good dependable mowing tractor. Obviously more clutzy than a zero turn but a B in good condition will give many thousands of hours of service with minimal maintenance.
