Traveling from southern MN to Detroit for
Granddaughter hockey tournament. I-90/94
Coming through Madison right now. Wave to
me if you see me. I'm in wife's blue
Explorer.
 
You'll be the closest when you get to Detroit, but still 500 miles away. Over a thousand miles to Minneapolis. if you miss your exit in Detroit and get close to Harrisburg, PA I'll give you a place to sleep overnight. Then it's only about 3 more hours over to Larry's place and he can give you some garden produce.

I am 25 miles west of Beloit. I am waving.
 
I'm an hour and a half north of I94 near Muskegon Michigan. I'm leaving for Kansas City tomorrow morning and will drive straight thru. It's about a 12 hour drive. Haven't decided if I'll take I 70 or I 80. It's one mile longer to go I 70. If any of you see a poop brown Chevy half ton with a topper and Michigan plates that's probably me.
Have a fun trip and visit the Henry Ford museum if you have time.

I wish I had read this earlier. Just east of Rockford, on I-90 couple miles past the Mcdonald's oasis where the overpass is painted Garden Prairie Rd is about 3 miles from home,I could come and wave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Didn't see you but when you passed under US23 on I-94, you were 3 miles from my house. That stretch of I-94 around Ann Arbor can be very treacherous. Avoid rush hour around Ann Arbor. Be safe.

You're 6 miles south of me when you pass the Chelsea, MI, M 52 exit. I quit playing hockey a few years ago, still love to watch it. What arena is her tournament? I would love to meet you, I am the walking Belgian! or call me at 73four, 915-one 75eight.
 
When you arrive in Detroit, we'll be about 2000 miles (3200 km) from each other. Have fun on the trip and stay safe.
 
Will you be in Detroit very long? I believe the Ford Rouge plant tour is open again and The Henry Ford Museum and adjacent Greenfield Village.
 
Pay attention to the radio for traffic on crashes. They are daily there. From the time you get on I294 till you get to the 15 exit in IN traffic can suck big time other days it flows like water out of a faucet. Unfortunately Henry ford museum and Greenfield Village are not in the best are with them being in Dearborn arab capitol of the US. Us-12 is not the best place to be. I used to drive that all the time close to 20 years ago. If you get lost up between Flint and LAnsing Call I'll get you going in the right direction again. I'm about 10 miles north of Perry MI.
