Hey, there!! I understand the getting up and down!! Same age!! plus one new knee.
I like to work on stuff I can get up on a bench I can either stand or sit at.
When I work on some of the smaller stuff, like my Kubota mowers and tractor, I run them
up on the car trailer. Then I can sit on the edge of the trailer or stand beside it.
Fairly comfortable.

Good evening, all: I noted the thread, just want to comment; a milk crate is my best friend for many jobs, even airing up 4 tires on the wife's car. If I can sit down, I can do pretty good work. If I have to bend over, not so good. Sitting on the ground is not practical, too hard to get back up!
