Finally got some more pis in the barn. Waited for a while to make sure i had corn, then got busy and didn't have time. So with harvest done i finallyhad time to get some. They sure have taken to the feed.

If its anything like it is here in Mi. where I live you better make your appointments at the slaughter house. I had to book the steers for next summer of 2022 back in August and I didn't even have them yet. They called me and wanted me to do so. I usually send about ten in every year for freezer beef for private sale. I use to just give them a call a month ahead or so when I had a couple to bring in but that all changed since C---d.

I sure enjoyed meeting you and seeing your place last spring. I admire the way you raise your own feed and manage the fleet of Case machinery. Its old school but it just seems right. The pork chops were awesome too! Hope this batch turns out as well.

Some people complain about the smell. An old friend many years ago had a different view of pigs. He would always reply, smells like money to me. Now days, probably the money is what you invest and lack of money is what they might bring if you sell them after all the feeding. We grew up raising dairy cattle and pigs so the smell doesn't bother me as much.
