Headed off to Chattanooga TN to meet ' Tennessee Farmall'. Bought a Farmall H and A from him. Great guy. Enjoyed our short visit. Beautiful part of the country. When we left home yesterday we made it about a mile and ran over something in the road, didn't see anything but it punched a big hole in a truck tire. Always something!

A long time ago I lived in Dayton, TN, about 20 miles north of Chattanooga. Since then, I've driven through Chattanooga many times on my visits to friends/family in Georgia. The traffic is always congested at the merge of I-24 and I-75. If there is a shortage of over-the-road trucks in the USA, it's because they are all stacked up at that traffic jam.

Did you go through that junction?

Terrible traffic all the way from the 59 merge, south west of town , to the Hamilton place mall, north east of town...... And back. At least a thousand trucks stuck in that traffic!

Been through Chattanooga a few times on my way to Florida.. Love seeing the USA at ground level instead of at 35000 ft.

I'm not afraid of flying. Put many flights to Florida to help mom.

Just like driving and avoiding Atlanta.
