SV, I have the remains of two 12-20's, probably enough parts to assemble one.

They were a UNIQUE engine for their time, having four valves per cylinder.

How many years passed before the next farm tractor with four valves per cylinder came on the market?

Plowing snow setting on a cold steel seat, while the other guy stands on that cold steel platform . Back when men were men. TO cold for me doing it that way.

In 1929 Minneapolis Steel & Machinery that built Twin City tractors, merged with Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company, and Moline Plow Company to form Minneapolis Moline.

1 of 3 Twin City 60-90 tractors that exist..This has some original parts but lots of it has been reproduced...If you would park the 2 all original ones beside it, you couldn't tell the difference..Dan did a fantastic job on it.

Heres the Twin City you saw at Goessel..Its Jerry's 40-65 TC that he sold several years ago..Its 2/3rds of a 60-90..The only show Dans 60-90 TC has ever been to was The Big Dig at Concordia in 2021.

Too bad them two guys couldn't see us now in our heated cabs with our stereo's and blue tooth and what ever else plowing or blowing snow.

I liked the guy with the tie on pulling the drill and disk.

We skidded logs with dozers when I was young. Your feet did freeze on those steel floor plates.

Official specs for the magnificent twin city model 60-90 in top photo.

Had my sights set on a Twin City that came up for sale in Wisconsin few years ago. I forget the model, something along the lines of the M-D 10-20. It was a nice tractor, shed kept and probably would run with some tinkering. I think it fetched around $3000, maybe a bit more. Someone got a nice tractor to add to their collection; I know its not at my place. Gerrit
