T.B.I. interchange

Afternoon people. I have a question for small block Chevy gurus amongst you. I need to replace the throttle body casting on the throttle body injection of my 1990 C-1500 pickup with the 4.3 v-6 engine due a problem with the actual casting itself. My question is thus; Will the TBI casting from a close year 305 V-8 interchange with my unit. I am sure I need to use my injectors in the end swap if it will work. The new units are $500.00 and up when you can find one available.

Thanks in advance for your knowledge of this. Gene Davis Tennille, Ga.

Yes, there will be some interchange.

The throttle levers may vary between applications, possibly the various "ports"/vacuum "nipples".

Use injectors and IAC from original TBI.

Yes. But it will have to be '92 or older so it has the transmission cable hook up. You are right, injectors are different.
