Wd45 wont crank over

So I have a Allis Chalmers Wd45 I ran it 2 months ago and I pull
started it to get it started went today and tried to pull start it and
no matter what gear I put it in it will not spin over when trying to
pull start it it has been in a barn with a rain cap on the muffler it
and I took the starter out to make sure the starter wasnt
jamming the flywheel and still nothing any ideas what could be
wrong? Thanks

Pull the spark plugs and put PB blaster in each hole. Put the plugs back in and wait a day or 2. With a fresh battery charge, try it. If no joy, lift one back tire and put it in road gear. Using all the force you can, rotate that tire back and forth hard. Jim

Did you try to pry against the flywheel teeth with a large screwdriver when you had the starter out to see if it will turn? The highest gear ..road gear.. will have greatest mechanical advantage through gearing to turn the engine while pull starting. I do not know how prone an Allis is to having the gear shift come out of place, does it feel like it is shifting normally? Just saying it may not be going in the gear you think it is. If prying on the flywheel will not turn it pull the plugs and report what you see. Does the barn roof leak?

Yes to Bob's advice. A couple of falls ago a neighbor's 656 gas locked up overnight. Somehow a little rain water got past the good fitting rain cap and the water got into one cylinder and froze making for a cylinder full of ice. It's still a mystery how that water got into the cylinder unless the wind blew the rain cap open for awhile and the rain got in.

No idea where you are but ive had ice lock up a rear end, drained it when it thawed,it was a shock how much moisture can accumulate where you dont want it.
