Help with my 1960 MF35 gas

Tractor will crank soooo easily. Soon as it's running, no smoke.
After it runs for a bit, and warms up I guess, it smokes. Video is attached. Would I need a cyl h job, rings, etc.
Have not completed a compression test yet.

Sitting here, many miles away, I would say
you are burning a little oil... I would
test compression dry and then add a little
oil to see what happens. If it isn't
great, then I would say valve job a rings
and hone. However, you won't know if you
can get away with rings and hone until you
get into it. Once you're that far into it,
and it looks like a regular work machine,
why not being it back to original and make
it solid for another 50 years?

I don't know too many people that were
glad they did the minimal amount of work
in an engine on a regularly used machine.
 
My 8N was smoking just like that- valves were fine, honed the cyls. and put in new rings, compression is good now and no smoke!
 
If you keep running that tractor with one or several cylinders misfiring.

The block may look like the neighbours Tractors block.....

Is radiator full? If you were burning coolant it would make sense that
it would start smoking once the thermostat opens. Can't tell from the
video what color that smoke really is. If you leave the cap off the
radiator do you have bubbles in the water after it warms up?

Have you checked the oil level?

If this started suddenly, the oil could be overfilled, as in gas contaminated if the fuel was left on and the carb flooded. Also running rich and cold coolant, (no or open thermostat) will cause the oil level to rise.

If the oil level is good, take a look at the plugs. If they are oily and trying to foul, it's likely oil smoke. If one plug is clean, the coolant is disappearing, overheating, misfiring, it could be a head gasket.

Have you had the valve cover off lately? If the engine is heavily sludged, the top end may be pooling oil. But it would have to be extremely clogged because very little oil comes up to the rockers. If it is that clogged the engine is due for a rebuild.

That engine uses replaceable wet liner/piston assemblies. They just sit in the block, so it's an easy rebuild.
