I still can't till my garden due to it being to wet. Got more rain yesterday evening. I did pick up 2 basil plants to replace the 2 that got hit by frost the other days. Plus got 7 new chicks so that way I can keep my layer laying. Sold 12 dozen eggs today and got $25 for the bike

The one you said you leave outside 365 days a year? You were just saying its no problem leaving it out,,It never gives you problems,,is it the same mower your talking about?

Yes one and the same. The starter pull rope where it goes into the top of the engine the knot broke off the end of the rope. But putting it in or leaving it out would not have changed that from happening

Hi Old. Please dont take this the wrong way. It is only a suggestion. Ive been reading your post for about 3 years now and for the most part you mention you have issues in your garden because of wetness. Yes, I do understand that plenty rain can cause this but there are a couple of things you can do to help with you problem. 1. Build up your garden elevation by bringing in 10 to 20 yards of good topsoil. 2. Cut some ditches to drain your garden rows. 3. Combine #1 and #2. Wishing you a successful growing season for 2022. My garden is on filled in areas and I hauled in a number of truck loads of dirt years ago plus I use a lot of compost in it so it drains well. But when it rains every other day one cannot till because it takes 3 or more days to dry out enough to till. Right now it has about 4-6 inch of manure n top of the soil ad since I haven't been able to till it up yet a lot of weeds. I have been mowing the weeds so that in turn add more organic material to the soil

Ok,,you win,,lol,,,it makes sense to leave your lawnmower out in the ice and snow all winter long,,once again;; You were right, leaving it out all winter is good,,I was wrong

I leave it out due to the fact if I did put it in one of my sheds if we had another flood like in Dec or 2015 it would in fact now be junk and I got lucky that year that it wasn't hurt more by the flood but if it had been in a shed it would have been under way more water/ Or in other words it is on high ground where it is kept. Even my troy built tiller is out of a shed all the time but has a wash tube over it

Goodness! You are way ahead of me! Looking great! Watch for this evening's post..... My folks are coming over, my dad has decided he is going to plow the garden for me! Lol.

No place where there is higher ground to do so. All the sheds where built based on the flood of 1986 and the old timers in the area call it the 100 year flood. Come Dec or 2015 and the old timers said this NEVER happens
