Just about ready to start putting seed in the ground this year. Desperately dry here but have to put the seed in the ground any how.

Wish I could send some of our rain your way! Super wet here and rains every few days. Barely gets dry enough to mow the yard. I also heard by this time last year about 30% of corn was planted, it's been so wet that no field work has done yet. It rained last night and this morning and more expected Friday and Saturday. I just hope when it does quit raining it doesn't stop for the rest of the year!

Where is "here"?
 
Hey rustred. There have been some of the larger farms south of me 30 miles that have been seeding for two to three weeks. Horribly dry here.
 
Hi J Hamilton. I wish you could as well. That what happened to us last year. We started out with decent moisture and then nothing but high heat and wind all summer.
 
26 degrees here this morning (Minneapolis west). Not even planting potatoes yet! Some of my landscape buddies have mentioned not all the frost is out yet.
 
Nothing happening here in East Central Wi. We get sun and warm for one or two days then cloudy for three or four days then rain for a couple days. Ground is wet and cold.
 
Some corn is planted here in nwia in small localized areas. The ground is so cold I think they are nuts but its their money.
 
Hi ss55. I havent grown oats for probably 35 years. Depending on the weather the next few days I will start seeding peas or what they used to call hard red spring wheat.
