My neighbor got a Ford Payloader with a 2 yd bucket [about],it wont start but it in the way, in a machine shed, can we pull it out with out hurting transmission. It's got the 4 cylinder Ford Diesel, i will get it running later !!

Can you easily remove drive shaft where it goes into splitter box from transmission? Would keep from damaging trans. Rest should be okay. Transmission is the problem.

Careful as probably no brakes.

I'd think if you're just dragging it from the shed somewhere close outside, out of the way, it would be fine provided it rolls. I don't believe there's any parking pawl in it. Just don't go crazy hauling it around because the lube pump won't be turning either. Short distance... out of the way.

i think that's the number, but we plugged it in last nite, and it stated this morning fine, is there a shut of in the pump control, we slide that cable,it's got a foot feed, but hadnt touched that last nite! And it started, so it acted like it wasnt getting fuel last nite, so every thing is fine! Thanks for your help!

A62 uses a 256 turbo engine which is the same as used in a 7600 ag tractor
It's been 20 years since we traded the one at the mill off but I'm thinking it has a shutdown cable like the ag tractor
It has a Allison 2 spd trans with 2 stage torque convertor, it uses 10w hydraulic oil or Dextron trans fluid
Biggest issue we had was brake particles getting in the brake cylinders causing the seals to leak resulting in lose of brakes
Do not put brake fluid in the brake system
