Weather heads just announced there was a 117 degree heat index here today. Tomorrow supposed to be 96 and not enough wind to blow out the candle. BTW that is in SE SC.
What's going on in your neighborhood?
 
98 yesterday.
95 today.
Was up in the mountains this morning working on a tractor.
Cooler with a nice breeze up there.

Was supposed to get to 97 with 95% humidity here today, I'm not sure it made that but it was hot
 
NW iowa. Yesterday the temp was 102 with a strong wind. Today it was in the mid-90's with a 30 MPH wind. The hay I had cut dried out in front of my eyes. Had to do some weaving with the baler to pick up the windrows the wind rearranged but the hay was in perfect shape.
 

Weather gal said 99. It was overcast part of the day I was able to be near a fan so I took it well. I have one small job to do early in the mooring and a large one to do after that. After I roll the small job out the AC is coming on in the shop : ).
 
99 with heat index at 115 at Lawrenceburg Ind. We are scheduled for maybe 3 days of this nasty stuff. Daughter in San Diego messaged a nice sunny 69 there today. Her company is trying to move people to a Texas office. Says thats just not going to happen.
 
Anything over about 65 is hot and below 15 is getting cold. I can put enough clothes on to pretty well keep warm. Can't take enough off and be legal to keep cool. It's going to 97 here and already at noon 86-91 depending on who you listen to. Then be 10 degrees cooler and back down to a liveable level the rest of the week till Friday. All subject to change in 5 minutes. Central MI.
 
It's so hot even the Moon was sweating Monday night. We were discing soybean ground.

It was 103F in Chicago on Tuesday, 14 June at 6pm while on my hysterical/historical trip. I didn't stop. Went 250 miles north to Central Siberia where, on Wed, 15 June, it was only 96. At 6pm, all hell broke loose with heavy rain, high winds, tornado warnings, thunder, lightning, etc, Sheets of rain going sideways. No hail, no tornados here. Actually, fun to watch from my 125 year old farmhouse. No damages. Today, 16 June, temp in the 70s with wind gusts to 45 mph with higher gusts forecast. Should dry things out in no time. Always exciting here in Central Siberia.
 
It's BEAUTIFUL here!! Partly sunny, mid-60's, and enough breeze to keep skeeters clear out of sight. Just simply couldn't ask for more. But this weekend it seems we're going to be getting some of that extreme heat. Am NOT looking forward to it.
