Question about three way crop?

So here in northern Utah I planted this crop called three way early this spring. It is one third oats, one third barley and one third spring wheat. It was cut with a swather thursday and baled yesterday. It made 61 3x4x8 bales. Last night a guy asked me if I had the second crop sold cause he wanted it. He says that it will grow back if I water it. Anybody here done that? Does it make anything? If so it would be good exercise for my old tractors to mow rake and bale.

It should grow back, lots of ranchers graze winter wheat in the fall (to keep it from heading out in the fall) pull the cattle and harvest the wheat the next year. The second cutting may not yield as good but feed is feed and with fuel so high it ,sometimes less is more. good luck Bryan
