Passed on my favorite old tractor

This has been an un-touched factory original tractor for 85 years. Today, I
delivered it to a neighbor for lawn art. His family has owned the land for over
100 years and one of his uncles farmed with a similar tractor. He specifically asked
for the one with iron wheels. (I have a couple others on rubber.)

I advised him to remove some items to prevent thievery. In this community,
it will probably get a few bullet holes.

Nice old tractor , to bad that we have too many OIDOTS that have nothing better to do than destroy other people property . wonder how they would like it if someone shot up their new car ,truck or house just for the fun of it ? .

Two questions: Does it run? It looks complete enough that if it had gas/oil/water and a good spin it should pop right off.

Those cast front wheels: Is it an English Fordson?

(quoted from post at 19:52:22 07/20/22) Needs to be inside a shed not out in weather.

I agree! Even worse, not too far from where I live is a Farmall Super H with what appears to be an excellent paint job setting in the front yard, in a rock garden. I try my best to not even look anymore.

Not sure if it runs or not, but, in the event that someone later on might want to bring it back to life, suggest permanently capping the stack to keep rain out. Pulling the plugs and pouring in some of the thickest oil that can be found. Prevent water entry in any other location. Grease every fitting.

It may not be valuable to someone today, but might help a future restorer with your efforts.

I do admit, that tractor doesn't look that bad.
