NO, I didn't do it, I found it on the 'net somewhere.)

At first look I thought a giant bug or alien was baked and painted into the frame......

Took a while to realize that is weld!

I spent the night in a hotel that had exterior stairs made like that for going to the upper stories from the parking lot. Every step had a missed weld and were rusty to
boot! I was glad to have a room on the ground floor.

You'll probably believe me when I tell you that I've done worse than that. I start to curve off and get way out in the middle of
nowhere.

I do that all the time. Ever since I had the pacemaker put in and I am supposed to keep the arc two feet from the pacemaker.

Thats what happens when you get old and cant see the puddle like me. I have welded a few years for a living and when your eyes cant see the puddle. I have changed to lighter lenses and nothing seems to work.

My bifocals drive me crazy when welding. I bought a pair of $5 reading glasses to wear when welding and get along a lot better. Still can't weld like I used to but it helps.

I bought a 750 bu. grain cart in 2010 and this was one of many welds that were crap!!!---Tee

This was a gusset on the hitch!

The Amish built it--They must have been welding by candlelight!

a friend of broke something on his disk so he took it to local welder. welder said some people should not be allowed to own a welder and farmers are one of them.

I have done similar but at least I grind it off and do it over. An auto darkening helmet helped my old eyes a lot.

I understood you had to stay away from the buzz box, not the arc. Something to do with the magnetism produced by the buzz box. I put
longer wires on my tombstone and have continued on.

I looked it up and it said both.
