12...4 x38 inch tire verses 12 x38

I have a 12 x 38 tire on right side. Also have a 11x38 mounted tire ready to put o left. Also have a 12.4x38 unmounted. Easies thing is install the 11x38 and forger it. tractor is hardly ever run. Have had it for 15 years and never hitched to anything. suggestions????

I would go with the one that is mounted,the worst that might happen is you just can't live with the different tire and change it later. I would run what is mounted.

The 11-38 is the same as the 12.4-38 and the 12-38 is the same as the 13.6-38

Bill,
I'm too old to fight tractor tires.
I go to the Sullivan tire store. They have all my tractor business. They say they can repair old rusty rims too.

I have that combo on my Model 60 ('53) One of them is original - guess. They are less than 5/8 in height. At the speeds these unit run, 'who the heck cares' ?
