MM-tractor data plate

Good afternoon, My data plate for my MM tractor on right side of transmission is U 01111556
I have looked for the right year and cant seem to find the year.
The motor data plate on the left side above the oil dipstick is
model 283A-4 and serial is 01920443.
Can anyone supply me with more info please. Thank you.
It was my grandfathers first tractor and he ran 640 acres in western mn. I have it apart and am ready to order parts for the engine rebuild. Any help would be appreciated.
 
maybe post a picture of this tractor. by the engine it appears its the model U. its the 283 cubic inch engine. i did not look up the serial
number. i dont know why you would have a problem ordering parts , as long as they are available. post a picture of this tractor as its the
easiest to tell u what u have.

The plate in the first picture is the one you want. It states you have a Model U. The information found in the serial number chart on this very website checks out with what Lyndon mentioned above.
