They were not mine. I was just along to help out as it was several miles to pull them. They became lawn ornaments but there is still a complete D in the shed. Just like the one in your pictures. Has not run in years but its all there.

They are celebrating 100 years of the John Deere D this year at Pioneer Acres at Irricanna Alberta and I believe they are hoping to have 100 Ds there during the weekend
festivities to mark the occasion. Im hoping to have mine there.

Wonder if they will make the hundred? It would be a long ride on a trailer for this one to make it.

My brother had a D.
Hand crank. Straight pipe for muffler.
3 speed. At the end of the day, your eyes would have problems
focusing from the loud exhaust. It was like your brain was
pulsing, a concussion.
It would easily pull a 3 bottom plow.

That one has a log chain around the front axle waiting to be pulled out.

August 11-13 2023. They are featuring John Deere equipment this year and the 100 years of the D. I hope they get lots of them there. What we can see of yours rust6 it looks good. Get her fired up. Thanks.

A friend of mine,Lee Miller, his Dad bought one of the last ones,its a 52 or 53 i forget,but his has a longer wheel base, that the one in the picture !
