Look At Our Snow

Just a few minutes of drone video looking down on the yard and field surrounding it this morning. Just over 0F when I did it so pretty cool on the hands. And obviously not much melting going on. Going to be a late spring.

Snow From Above

I think it will be a no spring. In 2 weeks it could be in the high 80s or low 90s. Single digit below zero tonight. That is very unusual for the end of March.

Tony, have you ever seen a woodchuck in February?
April is coming in like March and it looks like a late planting.

Ill take a late spring over hot and drier than a popcorn fart in April . So dry here two years ago the clods in the field looked the same in April as they did in October irrigated fields under pivot that werent planted lots of good ground that didnt produce anything or almost nothing

Pretty much been spring here since early January. Hardly any snow, and most days were above freezing. Hearing that it has been a very long maple syrup season.

I almost flipped past this video. I thought it was the one you did about 2016 with the Tom Petty music. I saved that one on my phone. I find it uplifting. Sorry to hear the Drone has post-concussion disorder. Are the Buffalo returning with Spring ? Hope you are well.

The Tom Petty tune is great on that older video but of course it gives me a copyright warning. Not a problem unless I monetize the channel. I expect the bison will return to the pasture as soon as the grass starts to grow. Another month to go at least.

(quoted from post at 06:36:09 03/29/23) Great pictures, I need a new toy! I am from WNY, that is flat! What kind of wind storms do you get?
This is not the true flatlands here. It is mostly up and down through sloughs and up the other side.
The wind is probably one of my biggest complaints on this country for my entire life. Although we have had a week of almost no wind which makes even 0 degrees relatively pleasant. Having a few trees around also makes it more livable.

Looks as though you really live a joke we
have in Wisconsin when the cold wind
blows.

Nothing between here and the North Pole
but a 3-strand barb wire fence.
