Need to see this more often

Got busy and put things were they go for a change. Seams that I am always looking for a flat surface!

Thats great. Please give us a lesson in how you did that. I seriously need help to get mine to look that good.

i suspect sorcery. i'm pretty sure that's what it would take to get mine to look like that, altho i do already have a bent piece of conduit over the bench.

How did you get two vices mounted so the item being worked on can go all the way to the floor? It seems like most are mounted over the bench :)

mine is too. i only have one vise, which only has 3 mounting ears, i assume to make this easier. it made me nervous so i sandwiched the bench top with a pair of steel plates in that corner.

I'll have to do mine next. When I built the workbench I vowed it wouldn't look like this. I guess that plan didn't work out :-(

Your bench has all of the key items. Adjustable light, pencil sharpener, duct tape, wire wheel and a wide aray of hammers! But the main thing is the RADIO! Most times when I am in my shop, it may look like I
am working on something, but really, I am just listening to the radio!

So to get them close to the edge, I had to weld the head of the mounting bolts down to the surface of the bench. Both vices had room on the underneath side to allow for that. Bench is also bolted to the wall.

My first thought was that, my gosh cedric you have been robbed and they took everything . Mf 40 yours looks about right.
