Pin hole leak in hydraulic line

I have 656 Farmall with a small pin hole leak in one of the steel hydraulic lines in front of the seat. I was going to attempt to braze it shut, but wondering if there are any other options besides swapping
out. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Pressure line only 2 choices. Braze or replace. If it's a suction line an epoxy would probably work.

It needs to be removed and the oil rinsed out before brazing. Doing it on the tractor is both dangerous and likely to contaminate the hydraulic system. Power wire brush the area to braze, use flux, and make the repair the size of a nickle and as thick, with all edges wetted to the steel. Jim

Clean and new exposed base metal, no mill scale (grey thin crust on steel) then flux and application of flux prior to rod melt. a wetted surface then results in a clean permanent repair. Jim

I repair about one a week it seems, did one yesterday. Some I gas weld, some I TIG weld, Some I Braze. Depends on the thickness and if it if pitted.
