With a sprinkler on it , it should look that good and be great yield too. Now lets see some of that dryland corn from around areas. Mine has made a great comeback from the end of June when you wondered if it was going to ne more than knee high by fall. It looks good and will actually have ears.I'm sure yield has been hurt from the dry weather though.
 
This farmer converted all his pumps to 3 phase electric a few years ago. I included the electrical box. No more diesel.
 
Dry land corn here in mid/west Tennessee will be a record breaking crop. Have had absolutely perfect growing season with plenty of rain .
 
looks like alot of ours here in north central IN but less yellow

passed a field around Jackson MI Saturday that looked like it was just starting to tassle.

we've had good rains here lately but early on it was too dry. great for getting dry 1st cutting in but not great for grain crops or 2nd cutting yield.
