YT pick at Farm Progress show

Most of the new tractors and equipment on display are simply huge ! While most of us can relate to the hay making equipment, pickup trucks/trailers and that sort of thing. The antique tractors were what I could relate to best.

I met up with fellow YT guy DPitman and his MM. Dave and I had a good visit.

I did find a few J I Case tractors and we also found a very nice collection of Oliver tractors
Genevieve like this one best

Very nice. I agree with you Bruce. Id much rather go to an antique tractor show than look at new tractors. This summer Miss Candy & I each had a 70 year old tractor in our annual parade.

Growing up I wanted to stop and see the lot of every equipment dealer we went past. Now I have no interest at all in the new big equipment. Just like farm magazines I get more out of old ones from the 60's and 70's then the new ones. Tom

The Farm Science Review in London, Ohio the middle of September has new and old tractors on display.....New ones are on the grounds proper, and the antiques are just inside the gates and fence, but not on the main display area. They try to have all brands there, and they appeal to the various clubs that are in the state to bring their tractors.Even tho the Club's feature is the D 21, they want to fill the space allotted to the club, my Allis Chalmers WC will be there on display...
