Another Dearborn Snow plow Question

Hi.

So I bought the 19 - 2 frame I think. It is not the original universal frame that has a bar that cantilevers the apparatus to pull the cable. Mine just has the two pulleys in the back, cable curves around them and goes straight to the three pt hitch.

Here is my problem: the aftermarket 3pt stabilizer brackets that bolt under the axle to the fender do not seem to hang low enough to pin to the plow frame at the middle of the frame hit the differential. Might not be dearborn but has similar setup.

Question: Anyone have pics or dimensions of the under axle brackets I need for my 8n? thx!

Posting a pic of what I bought

Might be a factory blade probably from a truck but frame is totaly homemade. Hope you did not pay much for it. Anything abouve scrap yard price is too much.Did you buy it from owner or an auction? If you bought from the owner he bight have some brackets still on his tractor that you did not get. You might be able to weld extensions to the stabalizer brackets but then question is the spots you are trying to use to hook to the brackets might not be the width to do that. And the frame requires front axle brackets to keep the plow centered under the tractor And those brackets are where the lift cables mount to. Did you get anything for that? If so a picture of that as well. If I was there I could probably figure out what you would need to make but with just the pictures I cannot do that. What does it look like on where you are trying to mount to the tractor, not sure if I am seeing that spot. My tractors are 50 mile away from me and have not seen one for several years. How does it look at front of frame to where cables should go to lift it? Where are you located so someone might be able to help you out. I am in northwestern Ohio.

I can't see your picture (not on facebook) but sounds like you may have a Arps frame we had one years ago on our 8N and I had to fab up brackets to make it work just welded flat irons that hung down about 6 don't have any pictures though.

Don't do facebook but his pictures are showing up on classic view, Also don't do modern so have no idea if they show up there or not. And I have never heard of an Arps plow.

Just went back to check it and the picture I saw is now not avaible either, don't understand that.

Hi Leroy. Thanks! I have all the parts I am sure. Once had a Blackhawk plow and this is similar setup but diff manufacturer. I will keep you posted on my progress...
