There must have been a thousand of them in Saskatchewan running rural grain elevators before electricity.
You could hear them running a couple miles away from the elevator site.

Those elevators are almost all gone now. The engines, I heard, were stored in Saskatoon, but eventually
disposed of. Among the oil-field engines were LeRoi (Westinghouse Airbrake Co.) and Witte.
 
This one ran the town electric generator (still attached) and the two cylinder version ran our cotton gin.

Thought it might be a Crossley but Im not sure Crossley built a big shouldered design. I think they might be a bit more slender design.
