My old drill seeded beans are sprouting. On avergae it looks like I have 4-5 beans per foot emerging. Corn is up, looks like that ol JD 7000 did a good job, about 1 plant every 4". Oats are coming on strong, I am just hoping they out pace the unkilled grass. And the rye is phenominal, neighbors stop and ask what I put on it cause it is the tallest, thickest, and darkest green rye around. Best I can tell is the ground had what it needed and I put down fertlizer at just the right time. Got a nice rain today, about 1/2 ", but can't count the chickens till their hatched. I have to get the crops in a gravity box before I can feel too accomplished. Hopefully I can get some pics on here as soon as I get the batts for the camera, may post some of my little sally's running round the cow yard also. That Normande bull calf is is quite impressive.
