my back window

We are used to seeing lot's of unusal things pass thru thiss little town, wind turbines, heavy equipment of all kinds,Abram tanks,(on large haulers), but now we have a very old railroad depo on movers wheels parked outside our back yard. They were moving it from Dumas Texas to the Austin texas area.Which is several hundred miles.Well the movers had a truck breakdown,so parked it just south of my home (with permission)and will be back in a few days to get it,whitch is good ,as it is blocking our view of the intersection. But is creating a lot of intrest as to what I am going to do with it. What do you see out of your windows thats different ??

We see lots of deer in our frontyard and once in awhile a moose.Neighbors up the road drive by with their [i hate to say this ,me being a JD andCase man} IH tractors to the hay fields. But I guess its ok cause i keepem going forem! They also collect IH tractors and have every Super ever built. Hoss

Three wind turbines sprouted up last week. fortunately the view from most of the yard and the kitchen window is blocked by the trees while in leaf.
Wife has ordered me to immediately plant and transplant tall evergreen trees with that *^^*& backhoe I just had to have.
Shot a few coyotes from the back deck.
Watched the Amish couple next to us ride the buggy to the road gate. She dismounted, opened the gate, he drove through, she shut the gate, he drove on and she walked back to the house. That one raised my blood pressure a few points.

if you walk out on the porch you first see my wifes pool and little shed that she calls a "pool house" and if you look to the right of the pool you see a gravel drive way that runs back into the woods precariously so you cant see my shop. and if you walk out on the front porch you can see my nieghbors pond and the tornado damaged woods beyond that.

I imagine it would.
Ask the amish guy for some pointers on dealing with the wife.
Just kidding
Around our place we have alot of plants in bloom a backhoe half painted and too many neighbors.Country place lots of water fowl, beavers, deer and Amish.Hunting season will thin three of the locals.Hope the Amish multiply! While they are not perfect as a group I perfer them as neighbors over many others.

Well, berm home so dirt on the "back" side- but out the front, there is wheat. To the East and West, wheat. As long as the storms stay away it will be combines soon.

craziest things I've seen haulled out here were giant stainless tanks that looked like rocket boosters. They floated 'em down the river to a farmers' feild, then loaded 'em on semi trucks and drove them up into the mountains to a Coors brewery. There was about 8 of 'em...they were as big as a house

I like to keep neighbors buisy too! A contractor needed a place for 5000 loads yep 5000 of large limestone rocks. They spent 8 months art trucks excavtors dozers tri axels 30 ft high stockpiles when it rained: lots of rumers don't know who started some of them but we had fun!

Our my back window, through the mirror, I usually see a 20something female, talking on her cell and checking her makeup in the reflection from my back bumper. Maybe the bright red glow of my brake lights will help her see a little better. I do feel bad about restricting her to only 9 mph over the speed limit, and I sincerely hope her life is longer than her impatience would suggest, but then my darker instincts reclaim control and I wave her on by as we approach the local speed trap. Have a nice day, baby!

Not much to be seen from my back window but from the side I see a pair of Ford tractors in my yard which is somewhat incongruous here in the City.

I didn"t get to see them but they had the roads all blocked off headed to Coors. I understand several places they had to use cranes to pick them over bridges that were too low for them to get underneath. Here"s a link...

Out any window of my house
I see my own land as far as I can see in any direction. Paid for too, took a lot of years for that to happen.
