I decided to sell the mower. Despite what i was told the thing is in rough but restorable shape. I just dont have the money or the willingness to bring it back online. I removed a rim and found that the thing was completally shot. I got it from where i (used to) work. I was told it was in good shape but couldnt really get to it, and i took the guys word for it. I guess i can now say i've been "burned". I'd sell it for scrap, but it isnt scrap, its a mower.

Its a David Bradley mower. Needs one new rim, probabally 2 or 3. Both tires shot. Everything moves on it, nothing but a pulley stuck as far as i know. Sickles seem to be OK to clean up, but probabally need replaced. The things they attatch to are
A. missing
B. bent
C. otherwise unusable.
Its a hand lift thats been converted, but to no great supprise the cylender and everything else is missing. It would be a nice machine for someone to fix up and use, and i hear them david bradleys are hard to find. What is something like this worth in the dayton, OH area?????

I'm reminded of a mower that a neighbor bought- he was told that it had "been through the shop" at a local equipment dealer. He opined that it must have hit a couple of posts on its way through.

Ok, it"s a David Bradley, but that was a SEARS
house name. Who did Sears buy them from? It
may be an orphan, or from a builder where parts
are still available
And wheels/rims..a little measuring and searching
in bone yards might find old car ones that would
fit. What is tire size? common 600-16?
