Any of you guys got a recommendation on a roll tarp for wagons and grain carts.

Allan I know you put one on a truck. What brand did you buy?

Cost is an issue.

Well over on this side of the creek Mountain Tarp is the big name , form dump trailers to grain wagons for flat beds and and spec. haulers Tarpco . Back when they were king of the hill they made the tarp for my dump trailer and it was one fine tarp fit like a glove and could withstand anything ya could throw at it

How can cost be an issue for a man with your kind of money?????? Just don't understand that one. :>)

SurLok up in SD makes tarps for everything. All ya gotta do is give 'em the measurements.

I have been on the phone pricing.

Rainbow Tarp with all hardware to put on my 10'4"x16'4" grain cart is $1065 plus shipping.

SurLok is $1200 no shipping.

Agri Cover is $1065 no shipping charge.

Waterloo Tent and Tarp $825 includes all but the end caps "front and back" that I would have to make.

Guess I should have asked about the thickness of tarp.

Waterloo I would have to drive 60 miles to pick up. It would take about $50 in metal and 3 hours of my time to build the end caps.

Think I will go with Waterloo. What do you guys think?

Double check the tarp weights. We had a Surlok tarp on one truck last about 5 years then switched out the tarp for their heavier one and it has held up for 6 so far and still looks good. The extra spent on the heaviest there is is well worth it. Keep them tight and rolled over and they last much longer!

Gary, one more you might try is tri-County Tarp in Bradner Oh. 800-874-8277.I haven't bought much from them, but it has been good and the price was too. They have been a little cheaper then Shurlock or Rainbow and have had good turn-around times.Rainbow and Tri are both family owned Cos.Just a thought and maybe of a little help.

The best tarp is the Agri-cover ( I think ) that has the cable over the top that the tarp winds and unwinds as it opens and closes. In the wind, the tarp can not blow away!

Most name brands have that as an option. A tarp of any decent length almost must have it at the opposite end of the crank and am seeing several of the semi trailers with them at both ends. Keeps the tarp rolling straight more than anything.
