Allis Chalmers Gas 175

I have an Allis. She's been completely rebuilt. Now, for some reason, I'm having to replace the needle valve. I replaced that and she still sounds like crap, choking out and dying. I have already checked the fuel filter and lines and they are all clean. Got any ideas???

My WD with its Zenith carb does the same thing. I tried Seafoam in the gas instead of Stabil and it seems to not be as bad. In my case, the tractor sits in the shed for months at a time. Anything works better if it's used on a daily basis. What I'm trying to say is that I think the problem lies with the fuel and not the carb/needle valve. Today's gasoline is a lot more volatile than the old "Phillips 66". It leaves gunk behind a lot faster and the needle valve is one of the first things to stick. Of course, a nearly 60 year old fuel tank might have something to do with it.
