OT: Orange-flavored wild berries

We have a bush in our woods that has tiny berries about the size of small peas. Bush look kinda like a sumac. The leaves and stems have a distinctly orange smell to them. I tasted one of the little berries. It had tasted like an orange peel but left my lips tingling. Real tingling.

So, anyone know what I've got? I'm guessing the berries are bad for me.
 
Could be Prickly Ash. The berries are very fragrant this time of year and have a distinctive (pleasant) smell to them. As far as eating them, I would not. Legend has it that the indians and pioneers years ago used to put them in their cheek if they had a bad tooth ache. It numbed the area. Would not recommend it though.

My nephew ate about a half a gallon of them things, couldn't feel his mouth, and had MASSIVE diarrhea.
 
Prickley ash has thorny stems but you didn't mention that. For pic:
