Jump starter box

Can anyone recommend a quality jump starter box? I bought an Everstart or Evermax or something like that and it's just right next to worthless it might jump a lawnmower. This one is 450 amps could be that it's not big enough. Saw some on ebay with an air compressor on board that would be handy.

I know Snap-On and probably most all higher end tool companies have them but I really doubt they actually build them.

So what do you use, has it been reliable and if you know the amps I would like to know that as well.

I got mine from harbor freight.. has a air compressor, and led lamp, and 12v outlets.

it's also something like 450a.. but has started trucks and tractors up to 50hp that were 'low'.. Now.. for my larger diesels.. they don't do much but give me one more rev.. etc..

Personally, I'd put my money in a GOOD pair of booster cables; something with at least 00 (double ought) wire. Probably cost upwards of 100 bucks, but they'll last a life-time.

I've had one for 3 years, not sure what brand, but it has been a life saver at least a dozen times and I use it all of the time. It won't start my Freightliner, but it will start everything else on the farm. It also makes a great 12 volt power pack for running any small 12 volt equipment like a spot sprayer or a trouble light.

I just purchased one at Harbor Freight last Friday. I paid $79 and I believe it has 800a. Don't recall the brand but it is yellow in color. They had another one in black and silver that had longer cables and same amps but they were out of them. This is the second one I have purchased like this. My son used the other one last week and now it will not recharge so I had to get a replacement. The only thing I don't like is the short cables.
