Yes they are 5/16ths. 2 inch long will work.

I used grade 8s, or 5s if I ran out of the 8s.

Have you backed into a drift yet?

Looks like that is a wet snow. That may cause some plugging problems. Keep them RPMs up to keep the snow moving.

Yes Sir,

Found that out. It just doesn't like the heavy, wet stuff.

Luckily, the little H was parked out in the clear, so I just swapped loader heads and started digging.
