Ford Ranger fuel gauge

I have looked on the web for a common problem with the fuel gauge on the 94 rangers and found nothing if someone knows where I can find the info I sure would appreciate it.

Take wire from sending unit ground the wire the gauge should move to empty or full if so replace sending unit if not replace gauge. Hope its the sending unit.

They have what's known as a "slosh module" built into the cluster. The resistance is 74 ohms empty 9 ohms full. Ground the wire to the sender with the key off then turn key on. Gage should go to full.
